Picked mine up today and on the way home I can hear what sounds like something rubbing in the wheels. Sounds like metal on metal. Going back to the dealer tomorrow to have them take a look.

Then don't..... No one is forcing you to buy an F150.Wow, with all the electrical problems I see reported on the forum there must be a whole lot more having the same issues that are not reported to this forum. Kind of scares me as I should have my new powerboost delivered in about a week. I just wonder if all the corrosion that can be seen in the undercarriage of this new units, there is al lot of other corrosion we cant see that lurks in many other parts including many electrical connection points and modules. Can't help but feel I may be buying a truck with contamination built in. If mine has lots of rust underneath I may not go forward with my purchase and explain to Ford the reason why.
I fully agree with this. Plus this forum represents a small slice of overall 2021 F-150 ownership.Typical forum content. Doesn't matter what brand you have. The vast majority of the owners are completely satisfied with the F150. Forums bring out the unhappy owners.
Turns out the dust shield was bent, quick fix and so far no other issues. Fitment of panels inside and out are perfect, very little rust that can be remedied quickly. This is by far the best vehicle I have ever owned.Picked mine up today and on the way home I can hear what sounds like something rubbing in the wheels. Sounds like metal on metal. No, no one forced me to order it and I look forward to getting a new F150 as I have had Ford pickups for many years, and they have been great. I have to say I have never had one that had as much rust and corrosion from what I have seen coming from the F150 factories as of late. Had I seen what was coming out lately I would have delayed my order and kept driving my '16 f150. Ford needs to understand that the buying public wont put up with a defective product by simply not accepting it.Then don't..... No one is forcing you to buy an F150.
I was given a loaner so that’s been nice. Funny enough, it’s an XLT 5.0 and I really like it. Much more than I like my 3.5EB lariat. It doesn’t have near the options but everything just works on it. Never had an alarms go off at 1 in the morning or any other issues, like I experienced in my lariat. I am looking forward to my tremor though. That’s really sad, sorry to hear that man. Did they give you a free loaner while your truck was in the shop?
Good luck with that idea, son..... Ain't gonna happen. I think, if you aren't a whining baby at the dealer, you should get the exhaust pipe from the cat to the muffler along with the muffler replaced as goodwill from Ford even though it can be cleaned up fairly easily (might just need to use some 0 steel wool) . The rest? Have a nice day.Significant Rust and Corrosion on the rear axil area and the exhaust system, front skid plate. Totally unacceptable and want to to return my new truck and get my money back.

1 - Pro Trailer Backup Assist. I cannot calibrate the Target Decal Option. It keeps telling me no sensor and won't go into calibrate mode.
2 - Rust on rear axle housing and rear wheel mounts
3 - Sync UI sometimes quits working while driving. I can touch it all I want, but no response. I have to pull over, power down the vehicle fully (shut down moor and open the door) and then restart.
My DS window didn’t go down or up all the way. They did fix it temporarily but the module needs replaced and as of last week there was no ETA on the parts. Couldn’t even order them yetI‘ll add another item to the list...my driver’s side window won’t go all the way down. I’ve tried all the resets and it still won’t work. Just scheduled an appointment at my dealership tomorrow to fix. This is minor, but calling it out for the list.
I will say this...I just drove back last night from a ranch in west Texas - put 650 miles on the truck round trip, and really got a chance to exercise all the features. THIS IS A GREAT TRUCK. It drives really well, the tech is super cool and helpful, and it feels like a luxury vehicle.
Yes, the rust (which my dealer cleaned up)...and yes, there have been some software gremlins which I’m sure they’ll fix, but overall, I’d buy this truck all over again and again, given the total package.
