I am about to place my order for my new truck. I would like to get a limited but I do not like the blue interior color. My dealer says that is the only interior color option on the limited currently. Anyone have any experience with this?

Limited is just that - limited. Limited options!

Yes there is only one Limited interior per year. I think the previous 2 years were brown and tan ish.

@daemonic3 is correct. Ford chooses one interior color scheme per year for the Limited model.

Gen 13 Limited Interior Colors
2016/2017 - Mojave
2018 - Navy Pier
2019-2020 - Camelback

There was a Lariat Limited package on and off during the Gen 12 production run which also saw a unique interior. I don't expect Admiral Blue to show back up in 2022. My guess is that it is a one year 'splash' interior to launch the new model.

If I had the means to go big on the Limited trim, I really like the Admiral Blue tones myself. But I can understand it’s not for everyone.

I’ve attached photos of the Ford F-150 Limited’s interior color schemes throughout the years like Rubicon mentioned above. (Oldest to newest) I knew the Limited got its own color, but did not know it changed year to year. Cool info!

I love the new interior color. One of the reason I ordered the Limited model.

Interesting info on the Limited interior "non-option" I wasn't aware of before coming to this forum. So (nearly) every year the Limited interior changes to a different, only-one-option color theme?

I'd really wish the Admiral Blue had a much darker contrasting gray interior (like was shown in the CGI interior mock-ups). I can just see the light gray plastic showing every little scratch and scuff mark over the years, not to mention stains on the seat inserts that would ordinarily be hidden with a black or darker leather. I plan to keep my 2021 for a long time (10-15 years).

Worse case is have it reupholstered down the line if/when it's looking beat up. I have a friend who worked for Katzkin (aftermarket automotive leather), and MSRP to re-do a F150 Limited (MY 2020) was quoted as $1900 on their site. (https://katzkin.com)

Have you seen the Blue interior in person? I have a 2019 limited and am pretty sure I'm going to buy a 2021 but just question what the blue interior will look like in a black truck

I haven't but I would think it would be a nice contrast color with black. Similar to a silver interior color but softer.

I'm a child of the 80's when Ford was super into blue interiors. For whatever reason, they still appeal to me at some level. Who they do not appeal to is my wife. LOL! I looked at a 2019 with 19,000 miles and the camelback center section was pretty dirty. Not that it could not have been cleaned, just made me second guess how well that would hold up with 2 kids under 7. I feel the same about the new Admiral. I bet it is pretty, but apt to get dirty. Then again, the Limited is 'ideally' supposed to appeal to a customer who owns a upscale vehicle now (BMW, Lincoln, Caddy, Mercedes, and so on). I suppose those folks don't use a truck like I do.

I'm with you. That's why I'm getting the Limited not the Platty. Getting it with Anitmatter Blue. Badass, according to me.

That would be badass!

If I could get the limited interior on the plat, I probably would have had my truck being built already. But I never liked either plat interior option, and I cannot tow with the limited. Very happy with my king ranch choice, but antimatter blue and limited interior is gonna be sweet...

Its not that I don't like the blue, Just not sure it will match the carbonized grey exterior I am going with. If the blue is the only interior color why is there one with a two tone grey interior online? Were they trying different colors before going with the blue?
