Leveling Kit Pro/Cons? Loss of MPG?

Hi all,

Just picked up my 21 F150 Lariat.

Trying to decide if I want to level it or not. The big concern would be the loss of mpg’s. Has anyone leveled there’s yet and what type of mpg’s are you getting now?

secondly, I’ve seen some comments about how you can void your warranty if you don’t take it to right shop or do it yourself. Any insight on this?

Leveling kits will not void your warranty, but if that's a concern for you then have your local Ford dealership install it, and have them do any future warranty work.

The leveling kit itself will effect your MPG very little. Where you lose the most is adding bigger, heavier tires.

He’s correct bigger and heavier tires will kill the mpg . I have a 2022 PB 4x4 and I just leveled it with the S3M 2.3 offset. And yeah I was consistently getting 23 . Now 21mpg or I have to really grandpa it to get 22mpg.

But it looks a Hell of a lot better.

If fuel economy was important people would not buy pickup trucks. My truck gets 16 mpg and my plug-in hybrid gets 99 mpg. For errands around town we use the SUV and the pickup sits in the driveway with its cab cover.

Level will have no measurable effect on mpg. Changing to 295/60/20 Nitto RG dropped mileage by about 3mpg. Even more on short trips or lots of stop and go.
