I bought the Range Industries Mid Height RTT kit w/ Thule tent - bolts right up to the box link mounts - very clean install very happy with it.

You should have no problem. You may have to change some hardware but you'll be fine.

what's the best way to setup tent inside our F150? in the bed or on top of the roof? mine has panoramic roof so i would think bed is a better idea. do i have to install racks to mount in-bed tents? i'm a truck and camping newbie, so bare with me LOL. thanks in advance.

Rack looks great. I'd love to see at some point in development it could be used with a tonneau or track system.

The truck bed rack I'm sharing can be used in conjunction with the tonneau featuring T-slots. Regarding the track system requirement, we've recently designed a brand-new rack that hasn't officially launched yet. You can stay tuned for updates. The new model is expected to debut in late December or January.

My old setup used the dee zee hex side rails and their cross bars with a rolling/folding truxedo cover. Was a great system you just need to replace the nuts and bolts as the hardware it ships with blows.
