2021 was the last year they made Powerstroke diesel engines, which that in itself makes the truck a bit more rare (even more rare with Platinum trim), it is the only year on a new body style that has the 3.0L PS. I may have paid a bit more than I wanted to but this is very well loaded with options and brand new & never titled. Also it's a private party sale so that means I don't have to pay sales tax in my state (AZ) so in a way, it evens it out.

Would have been nice to see Ford update the current diesel like GM did. But I get it , they have a lot of other good engine options.

My only choice was a supercrew with the 6.5 box as there were no supercab trucks available. The longer wheelbase is a pain in parking lots and even when making some U-turns on the road. The turning radius is worse than what I had with my Chevy 2500 pickup which had the "double cab" and the 6.5 box. The alternative was to put in an order and wait for 8 plus months.

It came with the larger gas tank, the max tow package, the electronic locking rear differential, and had the pop-out rear step and grab bar that is the best tailgate design from any truck manufacturer.

After an 8 month wait I picked up my truck earlier this week. Today I mounted up some RB20 running boards and Discount installed some Method 317's +18 with Grabber ATX 275/70-18. Friday it goes into Line-X then I'll install a Truxedo Pro X15 cover.
