After an 8 month wait I picked up my truck earlier this week. Today I mounted up some RB20 running boards and Discount installed some Method 317's +18 with Grabber ATX 275/70-18. Friday it goes into Line-X then I'll install a Truxedo Pro X15 cover.

Thank you. Yeah, I suppose I can live with that temporarily!

Great looking truck. Are the boards the regular or slim rb20? What are your thoughts on them? Trying to decide between the rb20 and tremor boards for mine. The price of the rb20 is definitely a draw.

Thanks. They're the regular width - RB20. If recall correctly the slim version is the RB10. Anyhow, they are stout. Well design, well constructed and installation was a breeze. Supplied brackets are heavy duty and fit up perfectly to the mounting studs on the truck. Much more so than the OE stamped steel brackets. I purchased with the bedliner coating for better slip resistance during the winter months. Down side is they're pricey. I thought about Tremor running boards too, but what's a few hundred more in the big picture... lol
I purchased directly from Go Rhino using a time sensitive discount code, which end up being cheaper than anyone else I could find.

2" ready lift, 35x11.5r20 Toyo AT3's. Crappy pic after I picked it up from the tire shop.
For this thread, perhaps a bit ordinary. For showing off your lift and tires? PERFECT!!! I hate when folks try and do all those angled glamour shots that makes it impossible to see scale and fit.

Lol, that's why I took a side view shot.
I did take one from the front to show there was zero poke. But, didn't post it.

Got behind an old Blazer, lifted 4' with huge monster tires that poked out a ton. I've had more than one windshield chipped/broken by rocks getting thrown off those kinda tires and had to pass that misguided chap ASAP.

2022 F-150
The long wheelbase and terrible turning radius is one thing I hate about my 2022 super crew with the 6.5' bed. Worst turning radius of any vehice I have driven in the past 50 years. Almost as bad were my Willys with their solid front axles but they they were still better than the F-150. Even my 2011 Chevy 2500 had a better turning radius than the F-150. The 2022 Super Crew F-450 has a better turning radius than the 2022 Super Crew F-150 pickup - go figure.

Grateful that the truck has the side and front cameras as without them I cannot even negotiate a fast food drive-in lane. Bought the truck with 4WD, locking rear differential, and large gas tank, and all the dealers had in the state were the super crew trucks that take the place of a mini van. Many places I cannot make a u-turn and have to change my route or make a left turn and then a Y turn to continue on my way.

I would have much preferred the super cab with 6.5' box but that was not an option unless I placed an order and waited for 12 months or more or went with the small gas tank and no locking rear differential. I could fix the differential but not the gas tank limitation.

I was able to continue to use the 4 x 6 x 1.2 foot strongbox I bought for the Chevy 2500 inside my new 2022 F-150 and it only took 3 weeks for the new Snugtop camper shell to arrive and have installed on the truck.

The narrow running boards are factory item and not something I would recommend. They are very slippery when wet and provide less protection for the sides of the truck from stuff tosses up by the tires. I added aftermarket splash guards to provide additional protection for the sides of the truck. Spash guards should be standard equipment on a pickup.

My last truck was a 145" wheel base F150. While I'm sure that my current trucks wheelbase of 157" leads to a wider turning radius, so far I haven't felt it's much different than my last truck.

The F550 / Ram 5500 tend to have a smaller turning circle due to their wide front tracks.

Ford's specs on turning diameter. from the 145 to 157 you go out 3.3 feet further. About 1/2 the truck width.

Understood.
So far compared to my last truck @ 145" wheelbase, I haven't felt the increased turning radius has had much affect on me. To say that I have not felt the increased turning radius has hindered my driving in any sort.
