Was looking in the HCM module forscan options, it has an option to change over to PWM signaling. Haven't played with seeing if it accepts PWM signaling or not (assume nothing). I suspect it will. That makes it even easier to control. Generic PWM controllers can be had for $2/ea.

Very simple now -- 3 wires to the head lights, B+ ties in at the spade connector hiding on the bottom of the image. Full dynamic / glare free operation

Disabling turn outage notification in BCM returns IPC to standard flash. Not concerned with LED outage notification.

@OleMustyBag How did you get the amber light in the new DRL? Is there a switch or cable to change the color setting? Thanks

Sorry can you explain better? I had LED fog lights before. The instructions said to just plug it in with the existing plug. What do I do with the white wire that I never needed before? Does that have to get wired to the fuse box? I’m confused. Thanks for the help here.

Sorry for late response work has been busy.
Cut the DRL wire to the white DRL light (I think it is the yellow or green wire I can’t remember but look at the tag on it) and wire in the white wire that powers the amber light. So instead of the truck powering the white DRL it will power the Amber DRL.

I have a platinum so I had the projector headlights and the new raptor lamps I have are also the projectors. They work except I can’t get the drl to stay on all the time and be the turn signal. I can have it on all the time or as a turn but not both for some reason.

That's all forscan. You need to make a few changes there. You can use this as a starting guide. It was intended for quad led to raptor so there are more lines than you will actually have to mess with.
@Hawsa
I have a 21 Lariat with the adaptive projector LEDs also. I have a set of adaptive LED Raptor headlights coming. All I need are some Forscan changes or will I also need to combine turn into drl wire w/diodes?

I did not have to combine any wires. I did end up re-ordering the wires in my harness though. The raptor drl works like a relay - it needs power full time via drl power and then applying voltage to the signal input will turn it off momentarily.

it could be that the wiring between lariat adaptive and raptor adaptive is not identical. The xlt was two completely different harnesses though.

I have a 23’ and I had to combine the wires to make the turn signal work. I also found out if you have the brightness increased on the low brightness DRL the blinker won’t work because there is no difference between the low and high brightness. However since I did mine I heard someone had figured out that the HCM in the raptor has different firmware. I think it was Ryan B maybe? So now I could have just swapped HCM and done the Forscan changes. I am not sure but don’t think that applies to the 21’.
Have you done the DRL brightness increase on yours?

I have the DRL set to dim w/turn active. I am going to make my own harnesses at work and combine turn into DRL. I have the pinout for both sides from a previous post in this chat. I did the Forscan changes from Hawasa's sheet I quoted above. Everything else is working so far though. I have some amber DRL fogs coming too.

@OleMustyBag just helped me through the forscan changes and it appears a raptor HCM or harness modification is necessary even if you’re coming from projector headlights. Hoping to find the HCMs but will build a couple harnesses if not. Big thanks to @OleMustyBag for the help!

So, if I swap my oem projector HCM over to the Raptor lights, it makes turn sigs flash the DRL? Doesn't make sense.

Again this is what I have heard from a aftermarket headlight swap harness builder. I have not actually tried this myself. This news came out after I had finished mine. From what I understand to make the raptor DRL blinkers work you need a HCM flashed with raptor firmware and the forscan changes from @Hawsa spreadsheet. @Hawsa was able to get his blinking with only forscan but I could never get mine to work on forscan only changes.
I have requested info from Ryan and as soon as I hear back I will update here.

Just to add to the confusion... like I mentioned I was able to get it working entirely with forscan - the hcm imo doesn't have anything to do with drl function. I say this because I have not yet installed an hcm (xlt doesn't have one factory). This means I don't have high beams, but my drls and signals work great. I have them set to 90% brightness and zero when flashing. Maybe you could try changing the brightness on/off values? They could be set to the same value and just appear to not be flashing even though they technically are?

The HCM firmware thing did not make sense to me either. But they keep telling me that. So your DRL dim setting is zero? Do your DRLs come on when the truck is parked and running? What line in the BCM is that you’re referring to? Mine are not set at zero but very dim the flash from dim to bright. If I turn the brightness at park up too high then I get no blink.
