Anyone know if there's a way to leave power running boards in the out position? They retract automatically when I reach a certain speed. Thanks in advance.

No, I don’t not believe it is an option. Max speed that can be set via forscan is 15kmh

Ughh. Okay. Thank you for the reply.
Yea I thought I could leave mine out like my old AMP ones (I like to drive down the road after a wash to dry them off) but couldn’t.

Wanted to leave mine out when I drive on back roads. Rather loose rocks hit the bottom of running board than the body.

I believe if you manually open them they stay open until you release the manual open.

would be dangerous, not advisable. install mudguards instead

Dangerous? What?
too low when deployed, insufficient clearance for snow, etc, beyond a standard OEM clearance design spec. This is why such self-deloying boards exist - standard-height “legal” running boards are too close to the cab - too high for practical use. But when deployed, our electric running boards are too low for normal clearances, must auto-retract at speed.

On my Amp Research boards I install a switch to hold up or hold down.
