So I purchased mine from Cmo_5.0 on Instagram and it was direct swap but you can’t swap over your buttons it’s easy

Ok guys can you give some updates on the steering wheel swap. I see who you are ordering one through, but do you have the part number and does it have to be from the lariat or just the xlt. Also, some clarification in reference to the buttons on the new wheel. Can they be used or do you switch over your buttons. Any details you can share would be helpful!

Any XL/STX guys in here do the leather swap yet? I noticed the steering wheel lists for about $500 and change give or take but it's currently backordered. Was wondering if anyone managed to find one and swap out theirs yet?

IMO it's the only thing the interior of the STX is missing.

I did the swap on a 2020 F15 without any problems or complications. I purchased my New take off leather steering wheel off of Ebay for 300 bucks.Air bag was no problem disconnect negative battery cable and wait about 15 minutes to remove it. The wiring inside of the Steering wheel was a plug and play. The only difference I can forsee is if the replacement sterring wheel has the HEATED option. The sterring wheel will work ,the plug in may be different. In that case you can reuse the switches off of your existing steering wheel. I say GO FOR IT! Looks so much better

yes, disconnect battery for about 15 minutes.


That's a killer price, Ive seen just under $400 US

Well I won’t need to do this mod because I have a leather wrapped wheel already or so it seems. I just wish it felt more like leather and less like plastic :/.
