I can confirm 100% that a Zero offset with a 17x8.5” wheel works with absolutely ZERO
cutting/trimming with 34x11.50’s.

You are correct, that’s Mainly because 11.50 width tires are like 285s’ and are pretty narrow, so you can fit a taller tire if it’s narrower. When you get into the 12-12.5 width is when it starts to rub (depending on height of course), also a 34x11.50 is 33.5 inch tall in practice.
In general I don’t like the standard sizes because all of them are about a half inch shorter in practice.
I almost went with a 325/60r18 (33.3 inch high, 13 inch wide) which is a smidge shorter then the 305/65r18 (33.6 inch high, 12.2 inch wide) I ended up going with but they were to wide which is too bad because it looked great with the extra poke which made it equivalent to a negative offset.
Still, very happy with my setup your truck looks great as well, Leadfoot was definitely the right choice.

Looks great

My build will be very similar

Suspension lift is Fox 2.0 and my rims are only +20 offset

But other than that, aside from the model of tire will be similar

Look forward to posting the before and after pics (parts are all here now, just need install)

I had my headlights tinted. It's a bit darker than I wanted but I'm getting used to it. Thoughts?

keeping it pretty stock this time around, for now. maybe becomes an overland build if/when lighting shows up.

just a level, go rhino boards and powder coated stock wheels. would prefer to go slightly bigger tire but kind of like the stock ride.

Just picked it up today, loving it so far. Really like how different this color looks in bright sun vs. low lighting.

Thanks, are you going with 17” wheels as well? These are a Zero offset so you won’t have as much poke as these unless you’re going super wide.

I blacked out my stock wheels too and with the level I felt like the stock tires just look too small. The wheels look so much better when blacked out though!

It’s crazy how much this color changes in the light!

Big time

From dark grey to a surprisingly light shade of grey when in bright sun

The scratches show up pretty easy too :D

I didn’t think I liked those wheels all that much, but seeing them on Lead Foot looks pretty good. Maybe I should have gone for them… I think I like the black powder coated stock ones the best though. Just don’t want to deal with the hassle of getting them coated.

Anyone got any ideas on what looks best with our leadfoot trucks for wheels? I was thinking bronze would be cool. A little different than the black look. A cursory search on google looks like there isn’t much in terms of gray wheels, probably wouldn’t look to well either. Need some contrast. Was thinking something like this:

What you guys think?
