From my limited understanding, this is the precursor to the newer 'sticker' ProTrailer system that was introduced later on. It allows the truck to sense the trailer angle while towing/backing up.

There doesnt appear to be anything like that in the package - just the cable, sensor, dummy port to hold the plug, and some zip ties.

I was afraid of that. I'll have to do a bit more digging. Multiple people at my Ford dealer didn't even know what it was; it's always interesting when you know more than they do! I did a virtual guided tour, and according to the "tourguide" they were discontinued for MY22 so I don't even know if it would work. I'll DM you if I can make an offer. Cheers!

I've not found a PN for the 7/12 pin bumper connector but FWIW vendor Nichols Manufacturing lists it for sale (when in stock).

Note this connector is the same for both F150 and Superduty.

Thanks, @Buyer2021. I hadn't found a part number outside of the entire kit that my ford dealer identified; and that was $1000! But it included everything from the sensor to this part so I wonder if the wiring isn't already in place. Gonna crawl under and look around this afternoon (if it's not too cold)

I do have the option to add an aux trailer camera on my sync 4A, but not sure how you add this option without the 12pin connector.

I sold mine last year on Ebay for $350, new in package. Never had a need for it as I have no problem backing a trailer.

Sync 4a is MME / Lightning, you have just 4
The tow tech package gets the 12 pin, not max tow.
