Lots of them
There are currently 7,240 total F-150 retail unscheduled orders as of 2/26/24, excluding Raptor & Lightning. An increase of 797 retails in USOB since last week.

Retail USOB: Is the current mix of retail orders in the unscheduled order bank (USOB) at the time the report was run. The report only looks at orders that are “clean”, meaning they do not have a compatibility error, material hold or on 99 priority code.

See previous report.

Thank you. Interesting to see orders are stacking up, though considering they're output this seems like it's still only a few days of capacity.

Yea well ford didn’t schedule for 2 weeks due to part constraints and now transitioning into job 2. So that’ll push the number up. But looking at the lariat BAP ot seems they don’t have the parts to complete the orders. It was more than they anticipated.

Does Ford prioritize Customer specific orders for those constrained parts and delay dealer orders for those constrained parts?

The Parts Constraint is interesting that it's still occurring. 2024 should have started showing up last October/November but here we are 4+ month later and dealers still don't have any on their lots. I'm sure it'll be reflected in 1Q profits.

Yes I know there was a strike but that shouldn't have impacted parts as much.

Are we completely sure the 2-week break in scheduling was due to a system wide parts constraint? I seem to remember the Bronco had a long time constraint on the hard tops so they just kept pushing our soft tops. If the F150 line shut down completely at two plants for a constraint, that would mean it was for all F150's not just certain trims. Likewise, "scheduling" and "manufacturing" are two different things. I can "schedule" anything and place it on the calendar even if I can't build it because I can always push that date back (as has been done before). A system wide scheduling halt for 2-weeks due to a parts constraint seems extremely unlikely.

Is it possible, that they just didn't schedule for two weeks in order to give them time to catch up at the factory with existing orders whilst they organize the plant/parts for the Job 2 transition?

The line only shut down for 1 week. I didn't schedule for 2 though. and that's correct. One week was for transferring/Preparation to Job 2, and one was for "Quality issues" according to ford. They weren't consecutive weeks either. They were about a month apart.
