Hopefully Ford starts to ramp up BAP for Lariat. That's a pretty big demand vs supply variance.
Can you translate that BAP line in the report for me. I'm not familiar with this report. What is it saying from a demand supply perspective? I have a BAP Lariat that I'm waiting for a build date on. Coming anytime soon?

I think the report is missing a key number and that is the overall US Capacity of total trucks. Last year Ford sold over 750,000 F-series trucks (this includes super duty and lightning but the overwhelming majority F150s). Even if only half of those were F-150s and US Capacity for Lariat BAP is 7% (from report) that is still 26,250 capacity for the year and over 2,000 per month of capacity for that particular trim.

If Lariat BAP Retail orders are 13% and there are 6,443 orders out that is ~838 orders. I don't think that number is a problem for them to fulfill outstanding orders relatively soon. First of course they have to solve for whatever the actual problem is that is holding up deliveries.

This wasn't occurring for me yesterday on the website, but is today.

That isn't a package removing standard equipment, but a change from Job 1 to Job 2. Not really an apples to apples comparison with that.
True, but indicative Ford is willing to shuffle the deck whilst still dealing...

FYI - I just went back to the build site and selected the Lariat BAP. As you work your way down the options you will see that LED Projector with Dynamic Bending Headlights is a selectable option. If it is standard with the Lariat it probably should not be there but it is.

If you select that option the conflict window pops up and says in order to get those headlights you need to remove the BAP and they will be chrome.

This may just be a build website glitch, which is highly likely, but that could be something to research if you are ordering a 2024 Job 2 with the BAP and the LED Projectors in black means something to you.
It's weird because I would think if it was a deletion the BAP package would say it removes them though under the bullet points it is not listed.

I'm not super particular about the headlights, darker does look better, though it's the chrome wheels and chrome trim on the car I wanted deleted, that's what drove me for the BAP. I can't stand chrome trim. Looks so cheap.

Yes not seeing them listed as a BAP item in the package leads me to believe that the LED Projector headlights are indeed standard for the Lariat, just in chrome. It should not come up as a conflict with the BAP package but it does and that may be the glitch, since you are getting them anyway. You can get the BAP for the Lariat and it will have LED projectors, just in chrome.
