I really want 4A and the better headlights. Leather would be nice. Only thinking I could go as much $ as the 500A Could someone post a pic of what the wheels, grill and a black interior looks like on a 4 x 4 500A?

I don’t have any pics to offer but I went with a 501A vs a 302A because of the leather heated and cooled seats, and the all electronic dash. Choose 501 vs 500 for the speaker upgrade but the 500 would be great. IMHO, I think the upgrade to leather cooled seats is worth it. But the biggest kicker was my dealer incentives. It put to 501 Lariat in the 302 XLT price range that I thought I was going with. Bring two build out options to your dealer and see how the price falls out

The 4A was something I realized after the fact and I think makes it even more worth it.

I’ve noticed that on B&P as well as when I run a D plan lease at work. It’s tempting me to go to a 502A because the cost is so close to a 302A. The rebates are the same and the residual is 2 points higher on the Lariat. 4A is the main thing I want after I fish tailed a bit on the interstate in 2WD. It looked dry them the wind hit my truck at the worst time and it scared the crap out of me.

Never fish tailed from wind in any 4x2 I’ve ever owned, and don’t know anyone else that has. That must be some strong wind.

I’m assuming you were pulling something otherwise, like @dhrandy said, that’s some strong wind!

The way I see it, the safety of my family is worth having 4A if i ever need it. Worth the little extra for my piece of mind.

302A also includes the all digital dash display FYI. But 4A is nice, the leather is really nice and the ventilated seats are extremely nice in hot weather. These things you don't get with the 302A. But the selling point for me between 302A and 501A was the leather seats and upgraded B&O system.

Edit: I stand corrected. 302A does not include the fancy digital instrument cluster, it;s like a hybrid. I thought I had sat in one that had it, guess not. But my other points are why I went Lariat instead of XLT

Love my 500A!!!! Of all the neat stuff on it, my favorite is the hot/cold seats.

302 Has the combo analog and digital that all XLT’s have. Digital dash is only on Lariat and above

302a has the analog Speedo and tach with an 8" drivers screen while the lariat is all digital 12". Other things you miss out on with the XLT other then the seats is ambient lighting, power folding mirrors, LED taillights, the lighted vanity mirrors, the cup holder armrest in the back seat, of course the 4a transfer case, the advanced security (perimeter plus interior sensors plus inclination and shock sensors) and of course all the trim pieces are different between them on the dash and interior. I had a 500a and was going to get a 302a this time since it does include the same headlights as the 500 and 501a but all those things added up in my opinion to make the jump worth it. The taillights alone on the lariats are so nice.

I think I hit a wet patch as there was sleet earlier in the day. Maybe “fishtail” is the wrong word but it felt like the back end slipped and it scared me down from about 60 to 40ish.

I corrected myself. It was more a slip due to wet road and the wind that scared me. The roads looked dry...

I think I’m digging the 500A package the most due to it being more scarce and the contrast of sport/chrome. Also the wheels remind me of the Raptor wheels. I’d have 1 ordered by now but for some reason the 502A leases similar to the 500A and it’s thrown me into ponder mode haha.

I'm sold on the interior and exterior looks of the 500A and the options.....just hope I can get all I want without being bumped up to a higher level.

Is it possible to get the base Bose system ( 8 speaker?) in 500A
