Have to consider resale value when talking about that $2k.

Really?? You can equip them identically and KR is a tiny bit less, but then KR Chrome adds $2k (US) on top and puts it over the platinum. That’s strange that a KR will option out to more $$ than a similar equipped Platinum in the US, Platinum is more in Canada.
Yep, the KR comes in a bit more than a platty with the 601a and ad the towing and what not.Really?? You can equip them identically and KR is a tiny bit less, but then KR Chrome adds $2k (US) on top and puts it over the platinum.
Ok so it is the same then that KR starts lower but scales higher than Platinum in Canada as well. Otherwise I'm buying a Canadian King Ranch! hahaWell being Canadian, my fully loaded KR comes in 88,800and the platinum comes in at 87,000 with all of the same options. I wanted the KR because of the interior.
You are not alone. My Platinum Powerboost replaced my ‘02 F-250 Powerstroke Lariat w/362k miles. It is all original, which is why I didn’t even consider another brand.I suppose I am almost always the Odd-Man out.
I buy a new truck and KEEP it for 15+ years and drive it into the ground.
Next week my new Platinum should arrive.
It will replace my current 2005 w/ 265K on it, that replaced my 1987 that burned through 3 motors over it's 18yrs of driving.
I say get the high end and enjoy all the options.!!
That extra $2,000 amortized over 15 years is nothing...
WELL DONE!You are not alone. My Platinum Powerboost replaced my ‘02 F-250 Powerstroke Lariat w/362k miles. It is all original, which is why I didn’t even consider another brand.
The Powerboost has more HP & torque!
I’m about to order my power boost to replace my 99 F250 powestroke that I’ve had since new. Only 200k on mine. Still looks new.WELL DONE!
I swear, it seems like most of the guys on this forum roll over their trucks every few years.
I thought I was the LONE MAN here who actually "drives" one!
agreed I think the KR interior is the best lookingWell being Canadian, my fully loaded KR comes in 88,800and the platinum comes in at 87,000 with all of the same options. I wanted the KR because of the interior.
