Thought I would add this here for us KR guys.

I noticed the XLTs has this wheel well guard that has more protection for slinging stuff to the front of the rear wheel wells. I think it might also help with water spray when it rains.

The back of my boards are always the dirtiest and felt this would do a better job then the ones our truck gets.

I check for the part numbers and looked at one on the lot and the holes are the same.

This is a photo of the what I'm talking about.

Had them order these with my points to check it out, not much money and if it does protect better will be worth it.

You had me wondering about getting these for my KR. Searching thru the picture threads, it appears the short boxes have the smaller guards while the 6.5 boxes have the larger ones. Forgot to get a photo but if you have seen the green guard photo it will have the larger one in the 6.5 foot box

I'm trying to remember if this truck I posted photos of was a long bed and I thing it was. It was a single cab so more than likely that could be the reason for the difference.

Ours just cover the metal of the corner, these extend out like a mini forward mud flap.

Got my Lomax trifold tonneau installed, the black urethane finish actually exactly matches the spray bedliner finish. Looks very nice in the sun here in my opinion!

Also installed my bed extender I carried over from my 2017.

I’m also looking at LOMAX for my cover. I like that it is low profile and can be easily removed.

Are those scratches on the first panel after the cab or just dirt?

Hi Guys.

I am new to posting on this site but have been browsing for a while now. I am about to order a new king ranch and am contemplating the chrome package. Can anyone confirm that if I get the chrome package the bumpers will be chromed or will they be stone gray. I currently have a 2017 King Ranch with the chrome package and the bumpers are grey. My dealer wasn't sure
Chrome package = chrome bumpers and wheels.

That's where it had brown egg crate material protecting it from rubbing during shipping. I need to take a wet cloth and wipe it off. Didn't realize it would show that much in the pic, oops!

Wanted to add one more thing that concerned me. Like others (@currybob for example) I am just going to store my king ranch carpet mats since I'll just use the rubber mats included in the fx4 package. But I want to keep them mint for any future resale.

I was going to put them in the attic in the plastic but had them sitting in the sun and noticed a lot of moisture coming from them inside the original plastic! That would start to mold if I stored them right away so I'm letting them vent and dry in the plastic instead.

Here's a pic of all the [surprising] moisture, as a heads up for others doing this

I don’t think I received my carpet mats, just the rubber ones. Did others get theirs?

Here’s my KR I picked up off the lot 4 weeks ago. I went in for a white Platinum but left with this.

My dealer put the rubber mats right over my carpet ones. Not a big deal but that’s where mine were.

I thought this would look janky but I swear it is barely noticeable in regular light (not camera flash). An 8" square of vinyl material came shipped with my tonneau to protect part of it so I temporarily put it under my pedal where the Ford mat leaves carpet exposed. Thought this would help while I wrestle with getting full coverage but I may get lazy and leave it ?
