Oh that picture just breaks my heart.
It's such an unnecessary injury to a thing of beauty.

Obviously I'm glad nobody is hurt, and as they say a machine can be replaced/repaired. But it's still a pity to see.

Thank you. Yes, no one was hurt. She hit me doing about 40 MPH with 4 kids in the Kia car. Everyone was OK. Now I have a F150 XL as a rental. I'm glad it has a radio. Not much else.

They are different. Didn't fit for me.
Bummer. Thanks for the response. I guess you haven’t found anything yet? I have been looking on the internet but haven’t had much luck. Still searching......

I'm looking but until I get the police report and then the damage report, not much I can do at this point. I doubt it will be totaled. I looked within 100 miles of all the big cities around Missouri, Kansas, and Texas, and haven't found a truck like the one I had. I found this one Kansas City when it was taking so long to schedule for the order I placed.

We are living in an amazing moment in history considering that it is almost impossible to find an F150 exactly like you might want.
Think about that for a minute.

For the last decade Ford has churned out more than half a MILLION of them year after year. One every 42 seconds 24/7/365!

Yet currently you can't find one configured like yours AND if you ordered one it can be months before Ford will even schedule it to build.
CrAzY times.

I agree. Looks like no matter which way I go, it will be months before I'm back in a King Ranch. If mine is to be repaired, it will take months to get parts. Although 2022's are now arriving at dealers, unless I settle for a color or options I may not want, it could be months to get the one I want.

I'm glad I'm in a 2019 Crew Cab F150 XL, but it is very basic. 5 degrees here in Missouri and I have to go outside to crank the truck to warm it up. Yes, yes in deed, I have spoiled myself. Growing up on a farm in Alabama and driving whatever was available, mostly no air conditioning, I shouldn't be that spoiled. I blame it on old age.

Worked on a farm here in SC all through high school - drove a beater Chevy 2500 without AC, vinyl seats, AM/FM all over for them… never thought a thing about it. Definitely has to be an age thing because at 16-18 didn’t seem the heat was that big of a deal; 2-60 air conditioning (two windows down at 60 mph) seemed to work just fine in my mind. Nowadays anything below 60 or above 80 gets me all annoyed.

What's so strange about the Adaptive Steering subject is that the 2022 Build Site finally is available online and Adaptive Steering STILL isn't mentioned as an option on the KingRanch. It leaves the impression that it is still standard on KingRanch.

Your truck is going to be beautiful. I love the Classic Tricoat White and Caribou. (currently renamed Star White and Stone Grey)

I also think the wheels that your specific configuration comes with are the slickest looking OEM wheels Ford offers currently.

I really like the color. If mine is totaled (doubtful) I may go from black trucks to a white one like yours.

After waiting 20 years for the truck of my dreams, I can officially join the KR club. Took delivery a few days ago while having my dealer install some accessories. I’ll be doing some custom work on it this weekend and will post some better photos. For now, taking the time to break it in, and thoroughly enjoying every single wonderful mile.
