After owning a number of pickups over the last 50 years I figure its about time to show the latest one and wished it didn't take so long to get a King Ranch one! After looking at the other ones posted I wish I could afford one in each color.

Picked up my beautiful King Ranch on Friday afternoon -- Star White, 600A, 3.5 Ecoboost, Max Tow, Trailer mirrors (love 'em!), power tailgate (I need the 'old-man step'), and those beautiful 20" Caribou wheels! I like the color-matched running boards (non-powered) as well. No chrome, no moonroof ... and a decent payload of 1694 lbs.

Nice! Mine is similar but Powerboost on 18” wheels, manual tailgate, 1572 lbs. it has lay flat seats; I suspect they are heavy....

Took CurryBobs suggestion and undercoated my (white) rear wheel wells, looks much better, & no wheel liner to trap road-salt

Can we swap build sheets & figure out lay flat seat weight for others?

Perfect! Our builds are pretty close and weight option differences are known except for the lay flat seats. I will make a weight table comparing the trucks & publish....

I quantified differences of the two builds using Ford published option weights plus estimates.

It appears that the power tailgate is a 45 to 65 pound option. The lay flat seats are likely at minimal weight penalty.

And they have skid pan, electronics locking axle in the rear as I always take FX4 and you have the FX4 sticker ?

So this finally happened. Glad to get into the KR Club and join the ranks of the two tone, Star White crew. I’ve learned a lot from this forum and appreciative of the knowledge and support the members provide. It was great learning what to look for, what to expect, and how to remedy. Was expecting the rust issue, so the great info in this forum saved me from a blood pressure spike and a WTF tirade. Now onto the fun of swapping things out and hiding the bills from my lovely bride. It is easier to ask for forgiveness than permission, right? Thanks again to everyone.

I haven’t seen a red one posted yet, so here’s mine (though a bit filthy from the train ride). I wont take delivery for another week as the dealer is addressing the rust issue first.
