I couldn't find if this has been asked. Is the Key FOB for the '21 the same as the last generation? I ask because I have three from the truck I am trading and would keep for re-programming if it would still work. Thanks in advance for any information.

I cannot fully confirm. But all the key fobs I’ve seen of various trims have been the same as the last generation trucks.

I bought 2021 last Thursday and they lost one of the key fobs. I'm going in tomorrow for them to program a new one. I'm told it takes about an hour. I'm told this is the process.

The process requires having your truck and the existing key for one hour. In programming the new key the missing key will be rendered useless. It takes about an hour since the security protocol for a new key has a 40-minute time wait to allow access to the BCM and for the vehicle to recognize and accept the added key.

Not sure if similar to your previous model.

I can tell you it’s identical to our new Navigator.
