Hey y'all, I have 3 tiny humans all currently in car seats. Unfortunately, some tend to get car sick and they all are spill prone. Does anyone use a recommended seat cover under the car seats? Or any other tips for keeping it clean/protected? I'm ordering TuxMats for floor coverage. I won't be using the rear heated seats cause of the car seats, so that's not a concern. TIA

TuxMats are probably exactly the right solution. I believe they're washable

Tuxmats are awesome for coverage. I have 4 grandkids 4 years and younger.

But that doesn't protect the seats.

They aren't happy about it, but nothing other than water is available in the truck between destinations. Admittedly 30 minutes or less for trips. They really don't suffer. :)

Even if I went that route(which admittedly, I'd break in a week), I still have to deal with the less than occasional vomiting.

Fortunately all of my kids are out of car seats now but they still get dirty and wet plus our dog goes right along with them. I got one of these and its been great. Amazon.com: Active Pets Back Seat Cover for Dogs - XL Dog Hammock for Car w/ Mesh Window - Non-Slip, Waterproof Back Seat Protector for Travel - Black : Pet Supplies
That looks great, but it doesn't look like it has places for car seat straps and that it actually hooks to the car seat anchors. Am I looking at that wrong?

we used the DOG thick set covers that are water proof and easily laundered.
my 3 year old grand daughter tried everything to make a mess, the cover won
it covered all the way to the floor and the floor was full width weathertech
now its just us big humans and dog and the dog is much easier to keep back area clean

i also use the cover for when we have big humans riding in back seat.

I did Carhart seat covers which worked great for our Boxers we had and when we have the grandchildren it works great with my Husky liner in the back.

We got the Custom Canine Padded Rear Seat Protector in Tan.

I got the Ford branded rear seat cover for it dog in the back and it has done well this far. I haven't had to clean anything off, but it is supposedly waterproof. After several trips, the rear seats still looked new (minus dog hair) when I had the cover off last weekend.

@Happy1286 I'm pretty sure he could give you some pointers.

Failing that Ginger chips usually works well to keep tummies settled and the cover @discothan recommended might work provided you can anchor the seats.
