I just got a 24 XLT Super Crew Powerboost last week and I'm so pumped on this truck. Plans are to drive it daily, try to keep the MPGs decent, but make it a little more custom.

First mod was black lug nuts. How are we shipping chrome lug nuts with black wheels in 2024???

Next up was the Bakflip MX4 bed cover. very simple install and killer looks and functionality.

Next up - Eibach Leveling Kit

Wasn't sure if it was going to come with the spanner, but it did, so that's good.

Did the back first, just to make sure I can be frustrated later

Did the front next (obviously)... the passenger side was horrific with the hybrid stuff mounted just above the shock tower, but I won the war.

Santa brought me a few fun items for Christmas this year!

Let's start it off with the AFE intake (dry filter element because it's white!)

Everything came out really easily.

Install was a bit more difficult, but we got her done.

My thoughts on this intake:

With the stock intake, I was hearing a lot of wooshing air due to the restrictions I think, and since I have been hearing that people have been frying turbos due to lack of air flow, I thought this would be a good mod. Now, I don't hear that wooshing sound anymore, which was the goal. This piece also looks soooooo good and fit and finish was perfect. This is the way aftermarket parts should be done (maybe with a tad less branding haha)

So far, I haven't noticed any difference in power or MPGs, but I also have a ~700hp mustang, so I'm not trying to make this truck into a racecar.

Next up: the Huskyliners rear wheel well liners

not much to say about these, they clean things up so much in the back, especially on lighter colored trucks like mine.

Lastly, the all important stubby antenna.

Also, I didn't like how the antenna looked at the bottom there, where the antenna is bigger than the part that it screws into, so I 3d printed a bushing to finish that off a little better.

Nice! Just got my 25 Lariat.. within 3 hrs I had the antenna switched out.

Trying to decide on A/T tires to swap in to and have the liners on order. Love the black lug nuts too.
