i have seen a lot of buzz here lately on the topic. Looks like Ford is clamping down on dealers putting in "custom" orders to stock their lots. Seems many dealers were putting in orders for fictitious customers when they saw regular stock drying up, ... and us with custom builds getting priority.

It doesn't apply to us in Canada, as (I believe) all provinces have consumer/ MTO laws which will require the named owner to put down his (her) license.

I am also believe that its more than customary (ie law) that we put down a deposit as well, which it appears isn't a requirement in the US.

Yeah- my dealer didn’t make me put a deposit down- gentleman’s agreement. We’ll see what happens, lol.
Any other May 6 or 7 blends out there with a 400+ sequence #? We gotta be close guys!

That's disappointing to hear your new build date is in July. I have a Feb. Order with a 05/07 blend date in Kansas. I saw the plant shut down the week of the 3rd. So essentially right on our week. This made me assume when the re opened on the 14th of June they would continue where they left off. (At our week). I wonder what they are doing in that 3 weeks instead... Either way, the bright side is our trucks arnt parked somewhere and I would assume will be built without any of those recent recall and rust problems... But I was hoping to be driving it at the beginning of July. Your new blend date seems to say otherwise. Mine hasn't changed from 05/07 but I know it will have to at some point....

Hi. I have an order date of 3/22 a blend date of 5/9 and was supposed to be delivered 5/21. Also in KC. I do not have updated build date or delivery yet. Hoping for one soon.

Ah- well it looks like you are the next hurdle! You HAVE to be imminent. I’d go as far as wager that you got produced today? 700 trucks between some point yesterday and end of day today. Keep us posted

As soon as I see that check mark ill update. Like you said, it has to be either produced or will be very soon

Well, nice surprise this morning! I've been updated with an "In Production" date of 6/23 and an ETA of 8/10 in Chicago suburbs. While 8/10 is not all that pleasurable, at least I see closure on the horizon!
