The dealer was nice but not super helpful. Just wondering how I can watch the order and track it. Thanks

First congrats, looks like it will be a nice truck.

I ordered on 9/25 and have no idea how to track anything either, but gave them my 2017 when I ordered and never knew how much I would miss my truck. Can’t wait to get the 21 here! Hoping we all have less of a wait than we think.

The Dealer I ordered mine thru sends me an e-mail every week or two.
He at first was sending me updates on a vehicle previously ordered by another
salesman using his order code.
That was taken care of.
Even when nothing is going on, he will send me a status update.
I ordered mine on 8-14 and it is still in the "unscheduled (clean)" mode.
Since mine will be built in Kansas City, I do not anticipate a production date before the first week
of November-----probably wont see it until December.
UNLESS---it will be one of the trucks undergoing the extensive quality checks before full production begins.
Not a highly optioned truck----4x4 SuperCab 8"box in Mid Level XLT, with just a few additions.

How do you know which factory your truck will be built at?

If it is a retail order it shouldn't be a part of MP1 (quality check batch).

Extended Cab with 8' box is Kansas City only
CNG prep is Kansas City only

Saw it on some link that was posted here a few weeks ago, but I have no idea where to look now.
I believe the Power Boost vehicles are Dearborn specific.
I will do some looking to find that link

I'm not sure -- but you are most likely correct.
At any rate, I have resigned myself to "When it gets here, it gets here"
Not really expecting an early arrival.

We’re all in that mode. Not much new content on the trucks either. I’m content at this point, but it took a couple of weeks to get here.

It seems to get worse then you start getting some info and then some movement and all is good in the world again! Lol

Retail orders or pre-sold units ordered in your name, will sit in UN-scheduled clean until Ford reaches the "OkToBuy" OKTB status. Once that happens things will start to move.

The reason I have a VIN and a scheduled date is because I have a good dealer trying to get me a truck as soon as possible. They have already taken ownership of my 2018, sold it too (still showing it as a trade). They did a stock order, which is the one I have a VIN on and a retail order which I have no VIN on. I get which ever shows up first, and it is looking like the stock order.

They should reach OKTB status by end of the month or early to mid November. Hopefully...

I guess we will really appreciate these trucks when they arrive, after all, many of us will have been waiting for 3 months or so by then.

As you can see in the status printout, my truck was orginally scheduled for week of 26 Oct, then was moved to 26 Nov (doesn't show that on the printout) and then to 13 Nov. It has been that date for 3 weeks now so guess all is good.

They had some powerboost delays with the manufacture that got caught up I guess. These are the kinds of things that can hurt your feelings. Lol

By the way, I'm going to a Ford look and drive even tomorrow in Atlanta. This will NOT help matters for me I think. But still will be nice to see what I have already order...

My dealer did the same order process as yours did Bob. Watching both orders to see which is ahead once scheduled and that will become my truck.
