I was in rockwall( whole nuther story) and needed to fuel up before the 87 mile back to sanity land
i stopped at a QT, truck was nose down a bit.
when the pump stopped and truck read full the DTE read 587.
wow not my normal 600.
i get back on hwy and running 75-78, 80, with outside temps in the mid forties, no heat on or ac, thats a whole story by itself.
well, its just me, so i am bee bopping and trying to watch the trucks and traffic and start noticing the DTE doing the slow climb UP
so i start checking it around every 5 miles or so and it now climbed after 38 or so miles to 599.... then by time i got to my exit at the other 30 plus miles it is back to 587
mpg stayed at 19 ...so i guess i got free miles or traveled at light speed
anyway it made my boring DARK trip entertaining to stay alert
