Got the mirror caps on but posted them in the "what did you so today" thread.

I posted latest pics in a few other threads but just to close the loop here...de-stickered and de-blocked. Body color mirror caps to get rid of the completely incongruous chrome caps.

Still thinking about tailgate lettering. I had raised black and chrome on my 2020 and liked it but this one I am going away from chrome...maybe matte black? Maybe leave it alone?

We pretty much have the same setup. I leveled mine and put on some Mickey Thompson Baja Boss tires. I don’t have Blue Cruise but did opt for the CCD suspension which I like. Went with the black mirror caps but debated color match….either way looks way better than chrome!

Looks good! I see you have Max Tow and the tow mirrors. So guessing you must tow something...So curious if you end up nose high while towing since you removed the blocks?

Asking as I have a 157" Max tow as well that has a fair amount of rake.

I was debating a 1.75" level lift to maintain a slight rake as I do tow a Travel trailer with it and want the truck to be level while towing.

It still has 2" rake. I found this on a dealer lot. I would not have ordered max tow but did want the big mirrors. I will occasionally haul 6-800 lbs in the bed but have no specific towing plans. I will eventually tow some...something always comes up whether it's rental equipment for my property or hauling motorcycles.

My 2020 was not max tow and also had the blocks removed. With 6-800 lbs it was closer to level but never nose high. If needed, putting the blocks back in is just an hour job with the right tools...and I work slow.

For anyone curious...

Truck is 157 wheelbase, Lariat, Max Tow, non-FX4, OEM 20" with original 275/60/20 tires, 3.5 Ecobost. No moonroof or tailgate step...Payload sticker just shy of 1700 lbs.

Stock suspension except removal of rear blocks. Unloaded, rake after blocks removed is right around 2 inches. Here it is with a full 36 gallon tank and 1150 lbs pretty evenly distributed in the bed. It sits within an eighth of an inch of level with that load. Only around 1/8 inch of that approx. 2 inch drop is added tire squish since I probably have them at around 40 psi.
