Had a custom dual Magnaflow installed. Just right, sounds like a V8 should without being obnoxious. Had dual running out the back but, they set too low for me, so now have Wesdon dual slant/angled behind each wheeel and now I'm happy!
Next on my list....spoilers!

I can't find a muffler shop in Houston that lists my F150 5.0 that includes my truck as a candidate for performance exhaust change out and there is nothing here on it either. Am I stuck with stock exhaust?
I am waiting for the Roush system, cat back, side exhaust. 2021 RCSB Best chance for not voiding the warranty and works directly with Ford. High quality Company.. Then Roush cold air intake. Going the safe and sure route the first time out of the chute. I think I will even have the dealer install it so it will not void the warranty as the service guy told me. I am still going to learn a lot more before I pull the trigger. haha
Regards, from San Antonio...

You need a new service guy. Putting an exhaust on will not void your warranty regardless of what brand or who installs it. There is a Warranty Act specifically for this. I don't think I can even think of a single case of an exhaust causing an issue with a vehicle.

Thanks for the info. :)

You are right. I will ask the other service guy up there where I bought it. Or go to the other dealer nearby also. At Toyota dealer, I had a friend there in service. Now I have 2 Fords.
So no friend at the dealer to trust.
I like that Roush set up with side pipes behind the rear wheel.

Absolutely. I’m waiting for the Roush Active. I know it’s overly expensive, but it sounds amazing when opened up and it will allow me to leave for work and arrive home at all hours of the day and night without waking the kids and neighbors.

I had a Borla muffler installed, just cut the old (huge) muffler and welded in the new. Then had a black tip added.

On second thought after hammering my ride today to see if there is any noticeable difference between Premium & Reg. fuel in Sport mode I am very happy with the sound of my stock muffler not to mention performance.

Hope it wasn’t with the windows up and you’re referring to the in cab sound because it’s just sound being pumped into the speakers especially on sport mode (it’s louder in sport mode even though it’s not an active exhaust) lol. Sounds super good until you realize it’s just augmented sound and not the real exhaust sound ? Ford is playing mind tricks with us haha

It’s on every model, they all have sound being pumped into the speakers to mimic exhaust sound. I have the 5.0 coyote aswell. You can ever hear the exhaust change and get louder when you switch to sport mode even tho there’s no active exhaust on the truck. It’s a Ford thing.

I now see it is even on the Raptor! Ford is not the only one doing this fake noise crap. Not being a techie I don't want to mess with the set up. You would have to disable it before you change out to a performance exhaust if I understand all of this stuff. I don't see any posts where the owner says he has disabled the piped in sound. If you don't do it aren't then hearing two sounds, one real and one fake? I am going to the carwash and rev my motor in std. mode then in Sport to see if I can tell the difference. Now I feel like I bought an AR15 that only shoots plastic bullets.
