Anything is possible... but there is likely so much wiring and hardware that would have to be added it is not necessarily feasible. But you never know till you ask, right? I also have an XLT 302A and would absolutely love to be wrong here. :)

I assume you already have the powered seat? At a minimum you’ll have to forscan program the DSM (may even need a new one, I’m not sure) and get the buttons on the door as well as the trim. There’s sure to be some wiring from the switches to the DSM as well.

I don’t currently have PTS access to dig into. It won’t be a small job, but it’s certainly possible

This is probably the one thing I miss and my wife complains about on our 302a. We have the adjustable pedals too, but end up never using them. The steering column is manual tilt/extend as well.

Sorry just rambling about 1st world problems.

Yeah we came from an expedition and I loved that feature. When I get in behind the wife it’s a 5 minute job to get my seat how I want.

@JHForman812, any input? I'd be interested in this as well.

Curious if any update to this? Just a new switch, harness, and forscan? Or also requires new motor or seats?

Yes. Ive done it. IT requires a lot of adds. You need new Driver seat motors. You need new harnesses and the addition of the DSM. You need to also add the switch in the driver door.

Its a big job. I did it all when I added heated and cooled seats.

Best to find a complete seat from a memory truck as the motors are missing the feedback pins, as is the harness. There's a pretty big step up in going from 302 to higher trims. Lots of stuff missing, if you have heated seats even how those operate are completely different (powered via HVAC module vs mem trucks powered from the seat itself). You also can't just swap the driver's seat, you must swap out passenger and add in the seat-to-seat wires (if seats are heated and you still want the passenger's to work).

@Jesse-Infotainment , Is there a thread or write up to adding/changing my xlt 302a bap heated seats to cooled and heated seats with memory? Want cooled but would even settle for one memory with current FOB.
