I’ve toyed with the idea of just removing the IWEs all together. I even have a TCCM for a f150 that I ordered by mistake when I did my 4a conversion that’s programmed for a non iwe truck. Without having done all the research yet I’m assuming I could just unplug the iwe’s and then would have to get both new front hubs for non iwe so that they are hard connected all the time. Just thinking out loud at this point.4A shouldn't be an issue on dry pavement. It's literally designed for it.
Sport Mode certainly wouldn't be a slippery surface mode.
However, I wouldn't want to live with being forced to use 4A just to avoid IWE issues. I'd much rather just not have the IWE option but still decide for myself whether I wanted the front differently connected to the crankshaft, if you know what I mean.
