Interior quality issues

Had the platinum for a week now. Planning to change the oil soon at 1k. Noticing some interior fit and finish issues that I plan to ask the dealer to address. The plastic pieces around the flag on the passengers side are all off in alignment and loose in attachment. Not to mention the plastic around the window switch (passenger side front) bulging and out of alignment.

Of all things to misalign, that brand new, sweet little American flag feature is not it, especially after how every frickin’ dealer couldn’t help themselves from mentioning it. Referring to it as an Easter egg or some fruity term of that nature.

Seriously! I was saying that earlier today. How unamerican of them! Haha. It seems like the flag portion and the plastic piece above it are the issue. The piece below it is secure and doesn’t move, and the pieces on the other side are secure and don’t move. This one however does

Changing it because the break in period is almost done!
I’ll take pics of the window switch tomorrow.

Yeah I'm old school and drop my oil somewhere between 1500 to 2,000 and then add full synthetic.

They say you don't have to that but no way I leaving all that break-in trash till 10,000 miles. I even have a magnetic on my oil filter for any of the extremely small ferrous metals that show up during the break in.

Can you link the magnetic oil filter and synthetic oil? Sounds like an excellent idea!

Use to use these till they got too expensive, it uses the same magnetic as above and why I don't understand the high price.

I Just use Mobile one full synthetic.

This site has some crazy strong magnets of all shapes and sizes. You can build your own way cheaper. https://www.kjmagnetics.com/

Just stick it to the filter.

I can tell you what they’ll do. I was just at a dealership and saw three trucks with that piece slightly misaligned. This is a non issue guys. It took more time to make the post than it did to troubleshoot and fix...here it is spelled out in three photos.

Push from the right side. That plate seems to be held on with rubber grommets on one side and Pins on the other. It worked on three trucks last night...
