Mine is all fixed.. took them about 4 hours to trace the short. It wasaa.frayed wire from a harness behind the dash laying across a metal bracket. All seems fine now. Got it back just in time for ice storm induced power outages. Using the truck to power my house was nice!

My one day old truck also doesn’t have dome lights... They’re tracing wires tomorrow.

Will be very curious to hear what they find. I had the same issue when I picked up my truck 2 weeks ago today - all of the interior lights (dome, map, visors, console, media tray) stopped working the next day. Had it back to the dealer for three hours and they couldn't figure it out so they ordered a new body control module hoping that would fix it. It will be two weeks on Friday and no word on the new module yet.

I got the truck back yesterday and long story short it was circuit damage causing wires to short. Hopefully you can read this image of the work order.

That's very helpful, thanks for posting the work order. Will be showing this to my dealer to fix the same problem.

I just got my truck today and I’m having the same problem. Went through everything and still no interior lights. Guess mine is headed to the dealer as well...

I'm trying to figure out the same thing. However, i'm sure it has to be a setting. I can push the light buttons for one or both and they go off and on just fine by pushing them. But they don't go on when you open the door.
I have the same problem. All lights work when I use the overhead buttons. The door light control switch changes back and forth between off and amber but the interior lights do not come on after I close all doors, lock the vehicle, unlock the vehicle then open the doors. I enabled and disabled ambient lighting but that didn't help. Definitely interested if anyone figures this out.

My truck is fully operational again after losing interior lights (dome, map, visors, media tray, console) the day after I bought it. The dealer was stumped and ordered a new BCM three weeks ago today. In the meantime, I found others on this forum - Libby2cm and Shorty - who had identical problems and were kind enough to share what their dealers found and the fix. In both cases it was a frayed wire in one of the harnesses that was the culprit and Shorty even shared the actual work order from the dealer on the process. I shared that with my dealer and when the new BCM failed to solve the problem, he printed out my e-mail (Shorty's work order) and the techs found the exact same issue. They would still probably have my truck and be looking for the cause if not for the info provided by the other members. My takeaway on this is that most dealers are still relatively unfamiliar with the '21 F-150 and the more actual symptoms/finding/solutions we can share amongst each other the faster everyone can learn. Many thanks to all who have taken the time to share their hard-earned wisdom so far!

mine is at the dealership, they are waiting for a specialist to come in and take down the headliner and see how to fix the issue. telling me a week.

500 miles now I get to drive the new Bronco for a bit.

got the truck with 50 miles on it, the trip down the Jersey Shore was fun, the power boost is amazing and the truck is awesome

I am thinking we got our trucks at a time when the shutdowns effect production - lights, rust, delays etc

I will let you know tomorrow. Been at the dealership for a week. They gave me a Bronco Sport.....Not a fan.

They also fixed the heat shield on the above the muffler, some scratches, they are also checking out the insulation padding between the bed and the cab, Ford, did not take off the blue plastic so the padding is hanging.

Other than that, I really miss the truck....

Wish they would have taken care of the undercoating or paint the axle, these trucks are in limited supply

The interior light problem on my truck was a glitch in the software, had a soft code also. They reset the codes, checked it out on the computer. Lights are working now.
They put my level kit on the front also.

I had the level kit, 100.00 The dealership owed me 200 so all they charged me far was alignment, that was 70.00
