I asked this same question a few months back and just wondering if anyone has installed a HomeLink opener in their XLT? IF so, what had to be done to add it to your truck? I feel this option should be included in the XLT 302 A trim anyways.

I looked in to this with my 2018 but it seemed like a lot of work. Depending on your mirror setup, as far as electronics go, you could go with something like this mirror. I put one in my STX, but it didn't have any electric components in the factory mirror. It was fantastic and worked very well, and looked much better than the HomeLink visor.

You will have to purchase the visor with Homelink - They retail just under $500. I would also like to have one but too rich for me.

I am not in a rush for one, so will keep my eye out for one for sale or off a wreck in a scrap yard.

Yeah, I have an app on my phone that I can open mine with. I was tempted to get the visor.

when I had my F250 (2019) I was told if you have the lights in the visor mirror, then all of the wiring is there for the homelink visor. All you need is the visor and plug and play. Assuming it is the same for the F150.

Just bumping/ adding this to this thread, it appears this mirrors are selling out rather quickly, now that people are figuring this out. I found a couple sites with them in stock still. Kia part number is 2T062-ADU01 and it looks factory. Mine was $20.08 shipped to my door.

Got it installed last weekend. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with an XLT and double recommend it to anyone with an XL or STX

Who'd you order it through? I ordered from Kia.Parts on the 15th shipped the 17th and delivered on the 22nd. If you ordered it through Kia you need to respond to their email confirm your vin OR tell them it fits your application and your not using it on Kia.

No, you have to use the line taps provided in the kit from Kia. It's as simple as plug and play tho. Some people on the 14th gen FB group have modified the two harnesses to make it plug and play.
