Definitely nothing crazy but I thought I would share. Since I like seeing what people are doing to their trucks... tint shop did a subtle 20% tint on just the white part of my tail lights today. I think it calms them down a bit wasn't a huge fan of all that white. Might not be for everyone, but I dig it!

Compare to factory untinted tail lights (not my truck):

Yeah, looks nice on the black truck. Might do the same on my gray. It doesn’t cover the BLIS sensor, I assume?

I do not believe it will interfere with the sensor.

🤣 that just regular window tint or vinyl?
I was told its a smoked paint protection film, which has a glossier finish than regular window tint, which matches the finish of the light better and makes it look closer to stock.

Do not care for those big white taillights at all.
The tinting is a major improvement tho.

Even the XL trim get tail lamps similar to these.
Have no Idea why the simple red taillights seem to only be on the XLT 300/301.
And I believe the STX

Okay by me---I like the red ones better on my XLT

The sensor is in the dark red section in the middle, so tinting the white shouldn't affect it.

I agree, when I first saw the tail lights on 21’s first impression was that they should have reversed them... higher trim models with less white.

But they have grown on me... hard to let that bother you too much when you get into this beautiful truck!

The rear end is definitely the worst looking part of these trucks, but since I don't have to see it much it doesn't matter. Still gonna see about tinting the taillights though because yours look great.
