Installed H8 AGM battery; my truck is transformed

I’ve got a 502A that came with the H6 so it wasn’t just on “cheaper” trucks. It was just probably what they had.

I posted this over in a thread on clunky transmissions since my truck in normal is pretty clunky sometimes so I've started driving in tow/haul and like it much better-
" The 2.7 is just much happier at higher rpm's. It has also fixed my battery problem, I think. Just having the engine turning 2000 -2500 rpm vs 1200-1700 seems to keep the battery charged better. I've had no problems with remote start, etc since using tow/haul. And, it disables the abominable start/stop "feature". "

Need some help please

got my new H8 installed, tried to reset the BMS per the owners manual but I don’t see a battery symbol when the ignition is on, and truck not started. The truck shows 3 messages on the instrument cluster, battery state of charge low, parking brake on, and the last escapes me right now. Tried multiple times with same results, and the brake symbol in red letters remains on while the truck is running.
Ideas?

Turn off the parking brake.
