Very cool! 20mm ball means you can marry these to other phone mounts, like magnetic ones or even GoPro type mounts.

I’ve used an air vent clip for years, they are great! This one looks like a little different design and I really like how it allows you to still have easy access to control the vent, if my current one ever breaks I’m gonna try it, thanks!

I think you can buy the base alone then add to it. I plan to get the base with a 20mm ball and then us an adapter like this then attach my mount to that plate.

I ended up going with the OffRoam mount paired with a medium size Ram extension bar, 25mm to 17mm ball adapter and an iOttie wireless charger. I tried to use the Ram wireless charger but it would only charge my iPhone 12 Pro Max with the case removed. The iOttie works if you extend the feet at the bottom.

The setup is pretty solid. One note on the iOttie is that it comes with a cig adapter plug not a USB so you will have to supply your own cord. Maybe one day I'll get around to hard wiring it.

Go one as well with 1" ball and installed on left. Going to get another with 20mm ball for the right side. Got the 1 on the right now with a short arm and Safemag charger. Works great.

I use the Steelie mount. Best thing I have found. I use the Otterbox case which has a thick back. I drilled a hole to fit the magnetic piece so it sat flush. It's quick to attach and remove, holds securely, and is pretty minimalist.
