Hybrid Late Availability?

Have been told by two separate dealerships in the Austin area that the hybrid option is a late availability, but can’t give me any answer as to what that means.

Anyone else hear this? I can’t find anything about it online. Only thing I see Ford saying publicly that will be available late are the Max Recline seats.

I've had a similar experience here in BC Canada. I went to 7 different dealers trying to get the best deal. Most of them told me late availability (mid 2021) for the hybrid, but two of them told me it's not late availability (avail dec/jan). I ended up ordering from one of those two.
Is it possible some dealers are allocated different builds than others or something like that? or was I just fed some fluff by the dealerships wanting to make the sale?

I have one ordered and already have a VIN and scheduled build date of 13 Nov. I don't think it will be late availability.

No way on the MID 2021!
Thats an absolute no-go.

Expecting to see my Platinum on or about December 31st.
Might roll into January, but not much past that.

Going up to Lake Tahoe Dec.28th and REALLY hoping its delivered before then!!!!

Looks like you were in a Ford Store the same morning I was.
Mine went into Unscheduled Clean 16:14 after spending about 3 hours of my morning there.

So does this mean they start building on Nov 13 for yours? Or is this when it is finished, I haven’t reached out to my dealer for an update yet, but it has only been 3 weeks since my order. Hoping to get an update soon

That is the scheduled day when they will start to assemble it. Seems like I remember from previous orders it takes between 22 and 24 hours to build one from start to finish. This early in the year it may be a little slower than that.

On full start up they usually run two shifts and shut down for 3rd shift maintenance.

Apparently they say hybrid is Job 2 but it's really not set in stone.
I sure hope that it shows up before April. I was hoping for November or December.

No, just a 502A 4x4 Lariat.
It's a Canadian truck so that could be the reason for the delay.

I think if that is the correct timeline, that is an awful long delay.

Ok, makes sense. Yeah I can't beleive it would be that long. Maybe your getting some bad info, hope so anyway, right.
