Hybrid F-150 engine is 3.5L turbo or NA

After seeing the document confirming that the Hybrid F-150 will have a 3.5L, I might actually consider it if it turns out to be the Ecoboost twin turbo 3.5L. As some other guys pointed out in the other thread, the Lincoln Aviator hybrid with just a 3.0L twin turbo makes almost 500hp and 630lb-ft, so the hybrid F-150 should make at least that with a 3.5L turbo. But I've also read some doubters who think that the 3.5L is a naturally aspirated unit. Curious to see what everyone her thinks it'll be. Vote in the poll.

Voted for twin turbo based on appropriate power level based on where Ford is going to position the F-150 hybrid in the lineup.

The 3.3L natural aspirated only makes 318hp / 322lb-ft in the Explorer Hybrid, versus the 3.0L turbo which makes 494 hp / 630 lb-ft in the Aviator Hybrid.

And since Ford is planning to position the Hybrid F-150 as a higher trim (and price), it needs to be making closer to the Aviator's numbers than the Explorer's.

Has to be a 3.5L ecoboost turbo. They have stated that this will have a 12000 lbs Capability. Also have stated goal is best in class HP and Torque in half ton class, if you don't remove the remove the limited, it has to be better than 450 HP and 510 ftlbs.
People won't go to the hybrid unless they have something to brag about. Fastest, and most powerful in the class while still getting 700 miles on a tank might do it.

Don't forget the Ford GT uses the 3.5 ecoboost and it has 647 hp. Maybe that is the future HO version that they are talking about ?.
