I have sold 2 sets of black bliss mirrors for 400 now and I have bought 2 sets of 360 mirrors for 350. People don’t know what they have lol
Mirrors aren’t very expensive unless they have power fold. Tow mirrors with all features except power fold are $650 I think. With power fold they are 1400-1800

Dealer didn’t even believe me when I got home. When test driving it I noticed it and thought maybe something was wrong and forgot to mention it lol. The only true reason I did it was because the tow mirrors I had to get due to power fold were the loaded ones with cams and I figured if I already got that cost out of the way i would do it, plus I wanted the cameras on the mirrors to work and not just be out of place. Lariat 502A. 73k dollar truck and it didn’t come with it already lol.

Not sure where to post this but I have a 2022 lariat with no front camera. This morning I got a "front camera low visibility, clean screen" message on my dash.
Is this just condensation on my sensors or do I have a module capable of adding a front camera

Thanks for any input

It’s referring to the one in the windshield behind the mirror. This is used for adaptive cruise and copilot 360 among other safety features.

I am sorry, I should have rephrased that question.
I don't have 360 camera, and am wondering why the message stated front camera since I don't have one

He answered your question correctly. You have a camera in the windshield. That is the front camera its referring to

similar boat here. we tested drove a XLT and that had the 360 camera, and then when we test drove the higher priced Lariat we ASSUMED it had it too since it's a higher trim, and bought the Lariat w/o 360 camera. of course the sales person conveniently kept his mouth shut and just hoped we signed the paperwork asap. i was vigorously looking at retrofitting this when i first found out our truck lacks this feature, but now we kind of get used to the size of the truck, and definitely don't want to spend extra money and effort to retrofit something we could easily had for less than $800.

I could not have done this without the help of @Jesse-Infotainment so major props to him. I am providing a link to my google drive that will have my write up and Jesse's parts list with some additions and updates I made. The drive also has all schematics needed as well as workshop manuals needed for the installation. If you do not already have a 12 inch display, you must upgrade the APIM. @Zhenes has been through this and can possibly help you, or you can reach out to Jesse.

If you are looking for the front cam, it is cheapest to buy the emblem and camera together on ebay, if you need to buy the camera seperate you can order your camera Here, I bought one from this seller and it was legit. If the link breaks search part number #ML34-19G490-BB and the seller is JOSRA-1020.
Try looking for the cargo cam on ebay, mutiple sellers on there with good deals, if you buy a new IPMA from ford it will have to be PMI. Mirrors can be found all over facebook, ebay, and this group. Whatever you order from ford parts, keep all of the packaging until you are done and have working 360 cams so you can return anything if needed.

If you do this using this information and would like to say thanks, message me and let me know you were successful or make a post here in this thread. I would love to hear how many people this helps!

I have a question for you reference the IPMA, am I right in saying after you install the new IPMA you will then need to program it(load as built) and then do your individual Forscan changes to program the 360 camera option? TIA

If the IPMA is brand new, it has to be PMI’d. It has to be updated using FDRS. Yes that’s correct all of the correct as-builts will need to be loaded as well. I suggest buying your IPMA from @Jesse-Infotainment and he will make sure you are taken care of. You will simply have to install it and go.
