I'm looking at buying a 2022 701A platinum, window sticker here:
https://www.windowsticker.forddirec...cguid=SH-a5654e8c-000d-c166-3911-15df1e14fd3f
(has been imported back into US btw)
and looking at this 2022 order guide, it appears the 701a should have the Ford Co-Pilot360™ Active 2.0 included as part of the 701a package:
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/att...516fe94cfbe83aaab342bb&force-system-browser=1
But the window sticker doesn't mention it and on a quick test drive i didn't see it in the driver assist menu, and the sales guy didn't think it had it.
So I'm assuming at this point the truck has the hardware, but the software did not exist when the truck was built, is that correct?
I found a link about having to update software to be able to get this?
https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/ecu-module-programming-guide-using-fdrs.8249/
so If i get this software updated, assuming there is a subscription to actually get blue cruise? Am I better off getting the dealer to install this vs DIY?
Thanks in advance!
