How many days since you ordered (still waiting on delivery) thread

If you referring to me, the info comes from the internal Ford status website. Your salesman can pull it (or find a friendly Ford employee who can).

For a short while (between Sent to Plant and Produced) the ETA fields where filled in with Start Date 4/8 and End Date of 4/14. That is transit (shipping) planned dates. Been TBD since about 3/20.

It seems like anything that was produced from early March on out of Dearbourne, has all Start and end dates switched to TBD. Wonder how many trucks are actually sitting there now waiting on parts.

166 days here. Got VIN 4/8 no idea when it was issued and told production date is currently 5/1 but certainly not holding my breath.

Thats the weird thing When pioneer pulls mine up it just says in production after it flipped from Awaiting Shipment. I have seen a few people post that theirs actually says awaiting parts. So I am not sure what the hold up on mine is.

Mine was ordered on 2/19/21 in production 3/31 built 4/16 and shipped on 4/15 and they are showing a delivery date of 6/4. I can't imagine it taking over one month to get here. My dealer states that truck is in transit passing Union Pacific Railway in Topeka KS. My vehicle is being shipped by truck and my dealer said that it has to be dropped off at rail yard first and that this is why it has a 6/4 delivery. This sounds like BS why would they drop my truck off at a rail yard when it is already in transit on a truck

2 days after scheduled build date (and blend date) but I'll take it! Holy shit, it might actually come in early April. Started talking to credit unions about loans at this point. Note the Start Date/End Date 04/05/2021-04/11/2021, which matched what the customer-facing Ford tracker said at the time. Even my dealer and I were on the same page for once, truck's coming in early April! Hooray!

Customer-facing tracker started to give an estimated delivery date of N/A, so I asked on the other forum for another update... hmm, Start Date/End Date have been replaced with TBD... that's somewhat disconcerting... ask dealer, they say they have no idea and Ford won't tell them anything... It was around this time that I started to hear a lot more news about the chip shortage.

Can't get any additional information from Ford. Can't get any additional information from dealer. No ETA of any kind. No one will even confirm that it's sitting mostly produced waiting for chips, so I'm just making an educated guess. Hmm... maybe I should start reading up on 22s...

One thing that's interesting to me is that there's a group of trucks at Dearborn that were "Produced" and released/sent to Ramp 59 and another group (which includes mine) that were "Produced" but never got an update after that. Since it seems like the dates are all over the place, I wonder if this distinction means anything significant or if they've just not been updating normally during this chip shortage thing.

OCDoug, maybe the difference in the bread crumb trail between yours and some others (like mine), did you have any accessories that needed to be installed Offsite (i.e. Spray-in Bed Liner, Wheel Well Liner, Tonneau cover)? If not yours is maybe just sitting and waiting for what ever part is is short (chips?) where as mine went offsite for further accessories and is sitting waiting for what ever part (chips?) in a different place....??

I ordered 11/17. The latest production date was supposed to be 4/30 but it'll probably postponed again due to the chip shortage. Priority seems to be going to dealer vehicles.

9/30/20: Ordered
1/15/21: Assigned VIN with blend date 2/10/21
2/15/21: Went into production, where it still remains today

I initially had an ETA in March, but that came and went, then disappeared. The tracker on this site and on Ford’s site both show it as in production. Unlike some on here, I’ve never not been able to see my window sticker.

My build: Lariat Powerboost 501A 145, max tow, FX4, sunroof, wheel well liners, antimatter blue. No offsite stuff like a tonneau cover or bed liner.

Below is a pic of the tracker from 2 days ago; it’s the same today.

My dealer has always been responsive and kind with my inquiries, which I really appreciate. I am supremely frustrated with the situation though and as some have mentioned before, this experience has completely taken the joy and excitement out of getting a new truck and has really soured me on Ford. This truck will really have to knock my socks off for me to seriously consider Ford for my future trucks. I know that that statement probably won’t go over well on this forum, but that’s how I feel. ?‍ Better communication and and transparency from Ford over the past 7 MONTHS would have gone a long way.
