How does Ford decide what trucks are built and delivered? This is the same dealership. Options are very similar, so shouldn’t be anything delaying mine that didn’t delay the other. My truck was ordered 2/24/21 with a 3/31 blend date. This truck that just arrived has a blend date of 04/03. My truck is still sitting in Dearborn for some reason.

Looks like your order was built in Dearborn and the stock order was built in Kansas City. It seems like more trucks that were built out of Dearborn are sitting waiting for components compared to the ones from Kansas City.

If you look under the block MSRP the second one has "special order". I don't know if that's it but my sticker says the same thing and I went from ordered 3/9 to shipped 5/7. Shipping tracker only says pending when I put my VIN in, mine is coming via truck not rail.

60 days since I ordered, both trackers showing shipped yesterday, showing ETA 5/28. I'll believe it when I see it. Shipping app just shows pending.

Platinum, Rapid Red, PB, Off road package, 6.5 bed with spray in liner, wheel liners, 7.2kw, max recline, workstation, moon roof, lockable storage. Production date 5/6, ship date 5/7, ETA 5/25.

Wow. Very lucky it shipped so fast. It seems that at this point if your truck doesn't ship within 2-3 days, it's stuck waiting for parts and you're screwed.

My biggest issue isn't the delays, it's that Ford isn't being up front with the customers. If they can't deliver for several months, notify the customer, and let them know, so they can decide f they want to wait, or explore other options. And if Ford can't deliver an ordered truck within four months, offer the customer the $1000 rebate for a factory order, on any in stock truck.

There are no in-stock trucks. My local dealer has less than 50 new vehicles on the lot and, according to the GM, nothing scheduled to be delivered anytime soon.

I do feel lucky but I'll believe it when I see it. I put my VIN in the palsapp and it just shows pending, we will see.

I ordered February 15th, I would be thrilled to be assured of an early Summer delivery. It shows built since 3/16 (waiting on parts on one of those forgotten off site parking lots). No clue when or if I will get it.

188 days now still waiting. Ford get your act together!
