Sounds to me like you drive purposefully, with focus. In other words, you like to wick it up when the opportunity presents itself...

I'm either short-trip'n it, hours of idling, or driving a few hundred miles. The number will start increasing eventually as I bought the EV to stop torturing the truck with really short trips. It's stupidly cheap to operate and it's get-in-and-go with no need to warmup the oil.

How about the 5.0? I’m averaging 10 mpg since I bought her hauling nothing but my 160lb self to work and back lol. 5.0 on e85, sport mode, and lots of wot. And I haven’t even leveled her on ridge grapplers yet.

Wait just a minute!! I thought all 5.0s were magic unicorns that lived in the 20mpg club while howling away at 7000rpm into the night??

I just got about 15mpg on a 6 mile trip. I think it is the lowest I have ever had. I'm not sure why it was so low. I think it was that I had idling time at a drive-thru.

I'm getting significantly lower MPG's 17-18.7. I'm guessing it is the lower temps and running the heat (on low). Its definitely not the 23-26mpg's I was getting in the summer..
