The tire package that Ford is going with on the Platinum is not doing anything for me. I plan on having the truck leveled either before delivery or after. But, with or without leveling, how big of a tire can I run? I assume it is the same basic space in the wheel well as a 2020. It just looks cavernous in there...

Wondering the same thing. The tire size for the FX4 plat is 275x60x20 which is a 33” tire but it does look small in those pics.

I’m leaning towards some Toyo ATIII tires me get a bit tougher tire but try and keep some of the ride quality. Just not sure on size quite yet, probably wait till I have the truck to get them unless I get to see some trucks before mine arrives.

@Agashi25, sorry about that, I should have given you credit for the photos I highjacked. :)

@Bills, I am thinking the same thing, unless the dealer can give me an accurate size spec. Likely will be having them do the leveling, as it sounds like that will keep my warranty in tact. I ran some Yokohama Geolander A/T's on a Tundra I owned a few years back and was pretty happy with them, I might go that direction again.

So, the stock 2021 Platinum tire is a 33" x 10.8". From what I have read, a stock 2020 F-150 on 20" rims can run a 33" x 12" without any issue. If you add a 2" leveling kit, you can squeeze a 35" by 12.5" under the truck. I don't know that I would go the full 12.5", but on a 2020 you could certainty shop 35 x 11.5" / 35" x 12.5" / 315-60 / 285-65. I am hopeful that the same is true on the 2021.
