Thanks been looking and did not see that on the AVS website. I have my truck booked in for 3M PPF next Wednesday but will likely put a colour match Aeroskin on when they come out.
I have to ask how much, I have been quoted various, but averaging $6K, how is that compared to yours?

I bought the AVS, easy install, and works good.

I put the OEM Ford one on about a month ago and have the AVS one sitting in my garage. I think I'm going to try and swap them to see which one I like more. The OEM has grown on me a little but it does stick so far forward off the hood.

Had XPEL PPF put on in September; full front, grill, mirrors, B pillars, rocker panels. Grill and B pillars in Matt finish, rest clear. Ceramic goes on later.

Did you have any issues with the holes lining up? I tried to install the AVS one on my truck last night, and couldn't get the slots to line up with the holes in the hood.

No issues, and if I remember correctly the deflector had slots to allow for alignment adjustments. I think I started in the middle when I was putting it on. I just followed the directions. I love having it on there.

Is this the Bugshield or Bugshield II? Trying to decide between the two, and seems like yours has a nice amount of coverage.
It's the Bugflector II. I have been very pleased with it so far.

Awesome, thanks!

And thanks for the correction on the name. No clue what happened there, especially since I was looking at their pdf comparison document...

No worries. Install was easy, cleans up good, and almost no bug splatter on windshield, which was my number one need, looks are a plus!

Any of you with the Aeroskin II have any issues with wind messing with your vents? I had one on mine and when going down the highway the wind would get pushed through my vents. Felt like the fan was going high then low and back high. Ended up taking it off and things are good now. Sucks because I really liked it.

So there is a gap between it and the hood? My last one was tight to the hood. Is it sturdy? Thanks for the photos...greatly appreciate it!!Nice truck by the way.
Do not confuse deflector with protector. Protectors are usually flush and protect paint from rock chips, etx. Deflectors are usually not flush amd have a little turned lip to direct wind flow over windshield.
