I'm thinking about something like this.
Ford F-150 Hitch Covers 1616167228694

Added protection (from rear end collision) with LED brake light, and a step.

Is it good? My only concern is that it will vibrate/wiggle out over time and it will get lost.
Mine has been in for at least a year. It fits snugly and grips, I love it because there is no pin so it is easy on/off when I'm trying to make the trailer hitching process quick. I may just keep mine, then throw the family a bone and say I want the KR one for my bday or fathers day or something. They struggle so much with gifts bc there is literally nothing I need or trust anyone to buy for me lmao

If that attaches to the trailer plug for brake lights, your truck will constantly throw trailer faults. In reviews I have read, those only work for older "dumb" trucks, and the recent F150 gens are too smart.

Good to know, thanks!
I'll think about the other version without the LED brake lights.

Good point about the crash protection - I wasn’t going to mess with one, but with a painted body color bumper, I might was to give myself a bumper pad.

I get it. I’m the same way! Actually got that one as a Christmas gift!
