I’ve been having the same issue since I leveled my 502a lariat. I think the sensors are going out of range, and throwing the projectors all the way down.

I’d guess most people aren’t seeing this, because they went with 2-2.5” levels. I did the eibach leveling springs, which fell out around 2.75”. Little to no information on the headlight calibration procedure out there, and I’ve been too busy to make a trip to Ford.

So, I got bored and decided to look at the headlight to see if there were actual adjustment screws. I didn’t expect there to be any due to the active movement, but as it turns out there is! I was able to correct mine with a few turns of a screwdriver.

how did you know yours needed correcting? Did you point your light at the wall from a certain distance and measure? ( like the YT videos do)

I could tell while driving that they were too far down. I use the typical method of 36” tall at 30’. They were a good 8” low.

The little sensor is easy to see, first I would just make sure they connected it back before doing anything else.
