Trying to get the speedo recalibrated after going from factory stock 275 65 18 tires to 295 70 18 leaving on the factory rim. (This is a power boost FX4 if it matters)
Getting no help finding a place to do it around here and Ford mechanics / dealership say they can't get into this new 2021 computer yet...
My question is unless you tell me to do something otherwise, I've got a hypertech #730125 inline sp

eedometer calibration module coming in today.
I see in the instructions that I have to program my old actual tire height and new tire height in from ground up...
Does anyone have a 21 FX4 on factory AT tires which should be 275 65 18 tire that they would measure for me please.... mine are already changed out and I don't know what the exact tire height was. The online calculators say 32.1" for that size but I remember that it was more like just over 31" in actuality??! .... Just as these new 295 70 18s pictured are supposed to be 34.3" but look to me more like 33.4"

Thanks in advance

Why would you buy that for over $200 when you can get an ODBII adapter and program tons more things including tire size for less than $100?

Exactly the type of information I'm asking for. Does that work for the 21 hybrid power boost? Previously everything I've heard or been told was that no tuning / programmers were available yet except the simple speedometer recalibration tool previously mentioned.
I guess I should have asked here before I ordered it... I had seen other people talk about using that elsewhere on here... Haven't seen anybody mentioned the ODBll before. Is that something that I can do at home? I called all over town, dealership and aftermarket truck places like I said got no help / advise

Here are the measurements I got from the Goodyear Wrangler Territory A/Ts that come with the FX4 and Sport packages. They are 275/65/R18 in size.

I have a 21 powerboost that I swapped out to 285/70/18 and updated with forscan. Look up the tiresize online in mm. Multiply by 97% of that number and the speedometer should be pretty close. There are several posts on here with more info. Amazon has the ODBll adapter you need.

I googled about the Forscan but what I was seeing just looked over my head TBH. I didn't want to screw with factory stuff too hard... But Wouldn't mind being able to disable backup beeper and seatbelt reminder but this hypertech thing plug and go seemed so much easier. I didn't know and noone around here that I expected to be able gave me the answers or were offering anything to help. Thank you

Give it a shot. Forscan can take care of the seatbelt alerts and some other items, but can't touch the backup alarm. If your options doesn't work out, Forscan is pretty simple and straight forward. I was a little nervous at first too. A couple of youtube videos and a little google and then it was simple.

Take a look in the programming section of this forum, there is a thread with a couple dozen pages, a guide, and tons more quality info. Plus you will be able to use it to diagnose any check engine lights in the future.

There is a form already started on here on how to disable your seat belt chime. Owners manual tells you how to do it yourself page 55.

I may be "full of it" , but wouldn't the tire diameter/height inches be at least slightly different if it didn't have the weight of the truck on them? I'd assumed that the tire manufacturers and dealers list an unloaded diameter.
