I'm still waiting on MegaOhm to work out their bypass circuit for the PB exhaust heat exchanger, and I thought I would spend a bit more time tinkering. I have all of the parts, and the only remaining hurdle is connecting the dummy circuit to the turck's harness. I'm still trying to work out which wire is which on the dummy connector, but I have the wire functions for the truck harness side from the wiring diagram. I think that with a bit of luck and maybe a few sacrificial dummy connectors ($80/ea, but way cheaper than an installed wiring harness or ECM), I can work out which wire is which. So the last challenge is trying to find a connector to match the Ford exhaust heat exchanger. I have a blurry picture, and I can take more, but I am hopeful that the hive mind may not even need that.
If I could buy the heat exchanger side of the 4 pin connector, I could solder that to the wires on the dummy connector and have a truly plug and play solution. I am trying to avoid the alternative, which is splicing a 4 pin connector off of Amazon into the wiring harness.
For reference, I already built a coolant bypass circuit which clamps onto the hose fittings on the temperature sensors, and I have the dummy connector. If I can find this 4 pin connector, I can get this thing finished.
