this harness is separate from the one people are talking about for paddle shifters, that some 302A come pre-wired for, right? most everyone doing a heated steering upgrade will need said harness? think it's the one piece i'm missing.

Correct, the HSW and paddle shifter connections are different, but equally as simple to do. The "controversial" part is intercepting the shift control wires, which is easy.

Where are people purchasing the heated steering wheel from these days? I remember seeing a steering wheel on fordparts.com for around $170 a month ago, but can't seem to find it anymore. Seems like every place I found them before have increased their price 4x.

Price hikes are pretty typical from Ford on parts when they see a spike in demand

Remove and discard the steering wheel bolt and remove the steering wheel. Torque: 46 lb.ft (62.5 Nm)

Not all wheels line up exactly, post test drive on my swap I had to loosen it and put CCW pressure on it w/ key off and then lock it back in. There's a few degrees of play to be able to get it back completely straight.

It is Tesa 51608 tape. It can be purchased from Amazon or other places.
