Definitely install the TRS. I used another TRS plate underneath to sandwich the truck bed since it’s corrugated. It was a pain with the powerboost motor and battery, barely any room to work. But if you have a non-hybrid you will be ok.

Kinda expensive but looks very secure. Any way to lock that TRS system to the bike?
Do you mean in case you leave them in the truck overnight?

Pit Bull. The best motorcycle stand, period. I have two rears and a front stand.

if by lock you mean stays put on the bike while moving it around, then yes.

see picture of bar attached to bike below

Yes

Yeah, that and if you stop at a store on the way to/from the event. With the tailgate down all someone has to do is pull a couple of pins and the bike is gone.

After more thought, even if that mount doesn't have a lock, you can always bring a chain with you and lock them to the bed in a number of different ways.

Understood, I only use this system and the truck to transport bikes to and from the track when needed, and yes you can chain the bike to the bed.

Regardless, if you use tie downs, TRS or any other truck bed system and you leave your bikes and car unattended, anything can get stolen.

The point of my post was to show how well the TRS works for transport. If you wanna chain them up, thats what a buddy did when he drove to COTA. And then they ended up stealing bikes from random garages, luckily, not his.

I wish they made a TRS for my 2017 BMW R1200 GSA. I use a front wheel chock that "locks" into place when you roll it on. So, the opposite of the TRS which I prefer. The chock also takes up more space in the bed and, of course, it has to be secured to the bed, too.

If you email them, there is a form you can fill out to have pins made for your bike.

Will be sending them measurements for these two CRF150R’s I picked up today!!

Nice Tards!

Well, since my bike has a singled sided swingarm they may not want to make one. But, they do have a rear stand that fits my bike which I have. I did send an inquiry about a TRS for my bike just now.

If you have a ratchet strap as a dirt bike tie-down in your truck bed, Start by tying down the ratchet straps to the handlebars of your bike, then loop the straps through the rear wheel to secure the rear end of your dirt bike.

I also rock a CBR600 for the track (see PP). If you want to haul two bikes., and you're going to be doing it often enough just install the TRS. I have them in my trailer and I cannot recommend it enough.

A front wheel chock is not necessary. If you have one then cool, but it's not required. I've hauled across the country in the bed multiple times without one.

If you can't bring yourself to install a TRS then you can snake your straps all around, or just do the easy thing and put a tie-down in the middle of the bed. It's useful for other things, too.
