I know I’ve read on this forum about the hard shifting. In normal, and eco for sure it seemes like it skips 2nd gear. In sport I don‘t notice it. Ideas on what if anything you have done to remedy this?

Mine skips 2nd unless I am being a bit aggressive with the throttle.
does not bother me in the least.
But, coming from a 5spd (and actually forever manuals in my trucks), skipping a gear was common practice.
4spd compounds frequently went 2 straight to 4
4spd in my Ranchero—- 1-3-4, or 1-2-4 depending on mood
5spd in the truck, 1-3-5

The 10spd in the new truck, don’t even notice it shifting after the 1-3 thing, unless I am ON IT.

Mine feels like it holds 3 a little too long during easy acceleration, and then maybe this is normal, but the 4-3 and 3-1 downshifts as I slow to a stop are noticeable and make trying to slow down feel jerky, especially that 3-1 shift. It feels like I'm always jerking to a stop, even if I was doing it as slowly and smoothly as possible.

I don't feel like I have a lot of the problems people describe, but this transmission definitely lacks refinement. The 6 speed in my 2012 Sierra was smooth and predictable.
